This year’s North Atlantic Seafood Forum conference held in Bergen, Norway aims to gather 1000 decision makers representing 400 companies in 40 countries.
North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF) has in the past attracted main leaders of the global fishing and aquaculture industries. According to the organizers NASF is a one-of-a-kind meeting place that brings together many CEO’s and executives of the seafood industry, facilitates good discussions, and meetings between old and new business contacts.
When NASF convenes for the 18th time March 7th through 9th it is after a couple of years with digital and postponed conferences. At the conference participants will get updates on markets, products, feed, sustainability, transport and more. On the list of speakers there are several Cargill names present.
Helene Ziv-Douki, President of Cargill Aqua Nutrition, participates in a panel discussion organized by the sustainability organization Seafood Business Ocean Stewardship (SeaBOS). Last fall she became vice-chair in SeaBOS which consists of ten of the largest seafood producers in the world.

The topic of the SeaBOS discussion is “What does the future of seafood production look like and why is ocean stewardship important?”
Tim Noonan, Managing Director for Seafood in the Cargill Protein and Salt enterprise is also coming to Bergen for the conference.

Furthermore, in the Feed Summit section of NASF Cargill Aqua Nutrition North Sea Commercial Director Lise Andreasen will give a talk titled “Why nutrition is fundamental to improving sustainability in fish farming”.
Presenting in the Sustainability seminar, Dave Robb, the Lead for our SeaFurther™ Sustainability Program will explain why “Feed sustainability expectations are at risk from volatile markets”.
