ASC feed standard audit week 15 2026

During 8–9 April 2026, audit will be conducted at Cargill’s feed operation EWOS Ltd at Westfield, in accordance with the requirements of the ASC Feed Standard (Aquaculture Stewardship Council).

The audits will be carried out by the third-party certification body Bureau Veritas Certification.

Background
Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)
 is an independent organization which certifies environmental and social wellbeing in farmed Seafood, including animal welfare and transparency. The ASC farm standard was launched in 2012. 

The ASC feed standard takes the ASC’s approach to responsible aquaculture and extends it to the feed mills that manufacture aquafeed, as well as the suppliers of their ingredients. The purpose is to ensure that fish feed factories meet strict environmental and social requirements, source ingredients from socially responsible Suppliers, and use environmentally responsible raw materials. From October 2025 all ASC-farmers must use ASC-compliant feed to in order to keep the ASC certification of their fish.

EWOS Ltd. in Westfield is certified in accordance with the ASC Feed Standard.

The audit taking place in week 15, 2026 is part of ASC’s requirement for annual audits.
