EWOS Organic Feeds

EWOS harmony is the leading range of organic salmon diets on the market formulated from certified organic ingredients.

EWOS produce organic feeds for both freshwater and seawater stages of salmonid life cycles and are compliant with numerous organic standards including Soil Association, Organic Food Federation, Debio and Naturland.

The feed is independently certified by the UK Soil Association and the Organic Food Federation, which are the most widely recognised and respected organic certification bodies in the UK.

EWOS harmony range includes a total of 12 diets meeting the nutritional needs of the salmon during the freshwater and seawater phases of the life-cycle.

The raw materials for EWOS harmony diets are sourced within the strict guidelines of each certification body. A range of approved marine and plant based ingredients are combined to produce the nutritionally optimised EWOS harmony feed.

Pigmentation is achieved by including crustacean shell as a natural source of astaxanthin in standard EWOS harmony. This unique pigment source provides natural pigmentation and results in the distinctive flesh colour of organically produced salmon.  As a result EWOS harmony offers fish farmers a differentiated feed for a differentiated final product.

EWOS can also cater for those farmers choosing to use permitted levels of phaffia for Organic Food Federation approved salmon production.
