FAME Makes Her 200th Feed Delivery
EWOS’ feed ship, the MV Fame celebrated her 200th feed delivery recently.
The Faroese ship, crewed by captain Leif Torensen and his staff made the voyage leaving Ayr docks, delivering to Lighthouse Caledonia’s sites on Loch Fyne before heading north.
The Fame and her crew were met by EWOS Logistics Manager Karen McLeod and Account Manager Lindsay Pollock at Ayr as she loaded feed for the voyage. She was then met as she dropped off feed at Lighthouse Caledonia’s Stronachuillin and Gob A Bharra sites by Regional Manager Iain Macintyre, Site Managers Iain Jackson and Davy Blair and Senior Marine Operative, Donnie Sinclair.
The MV Fame is on sole charter to EWOS and has a capacity of up to 620 tonnes. She has proven a valuable part of the flexible logistics solution we offer to our customers and is a vital part of meeting our commitment to sea deliveries at peak times all over Scotland and the Northern Isles.
