EWOS congratulates Seafood Intelligence in winning an iPad in the 1 million tonnes competition.

EWOS has for the first time passed the milestone of a combined production of 1 million tonnes from our operations in Norway, Scotland, Chile, Canada and Vietnam in one financial year. Interest for the 1 million tonnes campaign has been overwhelming. Our campaign website 1 million tonnes.com has generated considerable traffic, in total over 4.700 played the 1 million tonnes game during the two week competition.

In our random selection of all correct answers, Seafood Intelligence and editior Bertrand Charron came out on top and is the lucky winner of an Apple iPad 2. In reply to the notice of his lucky draw Betrand Charron says:

"I'm absolutely delighted to have won the 1 million tonnes competition: A great present which comes just on time for the festive period! I'd been regularly monitoring EWOS and other key salmon farming/aquaculture players' sustainability & CSR performances, and so I jumped on the opportunity to participate when I saw the original contest for this EWOS milestone announcement. A big thanks again!”
