EWOS came out best in a recent report comparing feed performance between the three feed producers: Skretting, EWOS and Biomar.

Monaqua (a company that supplies aquaculture benchmarking and monitoring systems) carried out the comprehensive survey, covering about 30 percent of all salmon produced in Norway in the years 2003 to 2006. The figures show that fish that ate feed from EWOS had the best growth throughout the investigated period. Then come fish that had feed from Skretting, and finally fish that had feed from Biomar. Figures show that the margins are small.

For example, all diets are within a range of 1.15 to 1.25 in economic feed conversion factor and they vary from year to year. But, overall it is EWOS feed that provides the best growth!
