As Managing director for EWOS Norway Geir Molvik has agreed to take on the position as COO Farming in Cermaq ASA, the board of EWOS AS has today appointed Atle Kvist (46) as the new Managing Director for EWOS Norway.
“It is a privilege to supply Cermaq with the managerial capacities the company requires while at the same time having the resources to internally fill the position of managing director of EWOS’ largest operational company”, says Kjell Bjordal, Managing Director for the EWOS Group.
Atle Kvist, who has since 2008 has the position of Operations Director for EWOS Norway, has a broad background from leading positions in the process and food industry.
“Our customers are increasingly being professionalised. To meet the demands going forward we have initiated a number of projects to strengthen our competitive advantage. We have skilled employees that build on each others strengths and I am looking forward to taking on the task of coaching the team”, says Atle Kvist.
Mr. Kvist will assume the position of managing director of EWOS June 1 and also become a member of the EWOS Group’s managing board.
